What does your wee day out on the bike look like? Danny MacAskill’s Wee Day Out is pretty impressive to say the least. A nice train ride through the countryside of Scotland with nice little pastries. A few hellos to the locals. And then he throws down some unreal moves that you have to see to believe. Interestingly enough he’s not on a trials bike but rather the Santa Cruz 5010, a full suspension mountain bike. What do you think of this video? How does your wee day out compare? The Superman Position On A Bike – Faster Than Pedaling
Wow, this is quite the stunt on a bike, and fixed gear bike none the less! The position that he’s in is known as the superman. Two key things to note in the video in addition to the crazy position, is the scooter driver getting a no-handed shot and the rider clipping back in. Those were impressive as well!

Trail to Ride or Hike? – Riding A Via Ferrata Video
Some trails are beginner rated where they’re pretty smooth with few obstacles. Others are so rocky and technical that only an expert could ride. Riding a Via Ferrata is neither of those. They will have some challenging aspects but the real difficulty is getting over the fact that if you fall, you’re dead. A Via Ferrata is a climbing or hiking route along a cliff face that is protected with a steel cable. You can find them all over the world particularly in the Alps while fewer reside in the US, potentially because of liability issues. This ride takes place in the Brenta Dolomites where over 90% of the downhill sections were ridden. This is probably a hike/climb much better experienced on foot than by bike. However it makes for a pretty incredible video. Enjoy below.

Crazy World Cup Downhill Video – Aaron Gwin
If you mountain bike you know what it feels like to ride through a technical rocky bit. Challenging, frightening, along with quite a thrill. Aaron Gwin takes it to a whole other level with this downhill run at the UCI World Cup in Windam, New York State in 2015. There’s skill and there’s no fear. When you combine the two, watch out. This ride is one that will be replayed and replayed time and time again.
Alpine Gravity’s Megavalanche Mega Carnage Downhilll Race Video
Ive never had so many laughs being involved in so much carnage and crashing. Looking back at the footage I laugh my head off, SOOO funny. Got crashed into from behind or shunted from the side several times, the first one resulting in my bike stopping way up on the steep glacier and having to play frogger trying to dodge flying bikes and bodies while climbing back up the steep glacier back to get it (watch the footage, its hilarious). I then got right off the brakes and over took most of the riders that passed me while going back for the bike, just to get hit twice again lower down (the glacier is so steep I couldn’t stop sliding!!!), with the second impact busting my derailer, shifter and all the body armour on my right hand side, so my mega race was pretty much over from then, as I was stuck in the hardest gear for all the pedalling and climbing. My quickest time in practice was 52 minutes which would have got me in the top 100, but that’s racing. Result aside, Mega was one of the best experiences ive ever had on a bike, and some of the most inspiring trails I have EVER seen. Already planning for next year, as ive got a ton of new riding buddies from all around the world, and cant wait to come back. Alot more vids to come…
