Bike racing and crashing go hand in hand. You can’t have one without the other. However, pile ups like this one at the Pro Men’s Race at the North Star Grand Prix in Minneapolis, Minnesota are less of an occurrence but they do happen and there’s not much you can do except hope you get lucky. The group was slatted to be traveling at 40 to 45 mph and around 50 riders hit the deck. On board video cameras are pretty great for getting in the action videos such as this. Hopefully you don’t have any pileups like this in your riding of a bike.
